Penne ala Vodka
Ingredients:
- 1/8 cup Maven Pure Butter - Salted, softened
- 3 pcs Bacon, diced
- 50 g Onion, chopped
- 3 cloves Garlic, chopped
- 20 mL Vodka
- 200 g Tomato, diced
- 240 g Penne Pasta, cooked
- 120 mL Pasta Water
- 3 g Basil Leaves
- 60 g TopChef Real Mayonnaise
- 20 g Parmesan Cheese
Procedure:
- In a saucepan, sauté the bacon until the fat has rendered.
- Add the Maven Pure Butter - Salted and sauté the onions and garlic until softened.
- Glaze the pan with vodka and simmer for one minute.
- Add the tomatoes and simmer until the liquid has thickened.
- Add the cooked pasta, pasta water, and basil. Simmer until the liquid has reduced and coats the pasta.
- Add TopChef Real Mayonnaise and toss to combine.
- Garnish with Parmesan cheese before serving.
