Penne ala Vodka

Ingredients:

  • 1/8 cup Maven Pure Butter - Salted, softened
  • 3 pcs Bacon, diced
  • 50 g Onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic, chopped
  • 20 mL Vodka
  • 200 g Tomato, diced
  • 240 g Penne Pasta, cooked
  • 120 mL Pasta Water
  • 3 g Basil Leaves
  • 60 g TopChef Real Mayonnaise
  • 20 g Parmesan Cheese

Procedure:

  1. In a saucepan, sauté the bacon until the fat has rendered.
  2. Add the Maven Pure Butter - Salted and sauté the onions and garlic until softened.
  3. Glaze the pan with vodka and simmer for one minute.
  4. Add the tomatoes and simmer until the liquid has thickened.
  5. Add the cooked pasta, pasta water, and basil. Simmer until the liquid has reduced and coats the pasta.
  6. Add TopChef Real Mayonnaise and toss to combine.
  7. Garnish with Parmesan cheese before serving.
