Fried Milk

Ingredients: 

Crisp n’ Dry Premium Deep Frying Fat
• 720 + 100 mL Mlekovita UHT Full Cream Milk
• Lemon Rind
• 2 pcs Cinnamon Sticks
• 120 g White Sugar
• 35 g Cornstarch
• 100 g All-Purpose Flour
• 2 pcs Egg, beaten
• 120 g Japanese breadcrumbs
• 30 g Sugar
• 2 g Cinnamon Powder
Procedure:
1. In a pot, combine milk, lemon rind, and cinnamon sticks.
    Bring to a simmer for 1 minute.
2. Add sugar and whisk mixture until sugar has completely
    dissolved.
3. In a small bowl, combine 100 mL of milk and cornstarch.
4. Under lowest heat, whisk cornstarch and milk mixture.
    Mix well.
5. Transfer mixture in 6 x 6 inch pan and let it set inside the chiller.
6. Slice chilled milk into 16 pieces cube.
7. Dredge milk pieces into flour then in egg mixture and coat
    with breadcrumbs to finish.
8. Deep-fry coated milk for 2 minutes or until golden brown.
    Transfer to a plate lined with a paper towel to remove excess oil.
9. Sprinkle with mixed sugar and cinnamon powder
    before serving.
